Energy Manager is a state-of-the-art,
Enterprise web-based application built to
support daily activities of energy trading &
scheduling. The application
records all aspects of power transactions,
allowing for the entry and management of
hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly trades,
schedules, OASIS transmission and NERC
electronic tagging.
Real-time data and optimal run-time are
critical factors for efficient operation of
an Electric Utility or a trading firm.
Energy Manager eliminates error-prone manual
data entry, and enhances the integrity and
transparency of transactions of various
types that range from energy trading to
scheduling.
Transaction Manager
Provides a drill-down architecture that
enables users to create/view/edit schedules,
deals and tags.
Displays integrated hourly and daily
rolled-up interchange values for all
schedules that are sinking,
sourcing, or being wheeled through the
control area.
Trade/Deal
New deal types and custom fields can
easily be added to make certain that Energy
Manager meets
corporate information tracking, auditing,
and reporting transparency requirements.
Supported transactions types include: spot,
term, transmission, index, fuel (including
natural gas, with
allocation for calculating spark spreads)
Dynamic Credit Checking
Energy Manager provides dynamic credit
risk measurement and calculations. Dynamic
credit checking is
performed whenever a trader enters or
revises a transaction.
By calculating and applying counter-party,
corporate, trader, and member credit risk
limits in real-time,
Energy Manager validates corporate credit
policies
Allocations
Energy Manager is able to allocate
parties jointly involved in transactions to
a particular deal.
This feature is most useful for joint action
agencies, aggregators, municipal
organizations, and service
providers who perform trades on behalf of
clients.
E-Tag
Provides seamless integration between
schedules, deals and E-Tags. Schedules and
deals can be
exported to create error-free E-Tags and
also save E-Tags as schedules or deals.
