ForTag Agent is used by PSE’s to create and submit Tags required by NERC to facilitate the |

purchase or sale of energy or capacity. After initial creation and verification, the Tag is |

transferred via the Internet to the appropriate Tag Authority Service |

Using ForTag Agent, user can easily monitor the status of all the Tags (Pending, Approved, Denied |

etc.) |

Ability to sort Tags for display purposes based on user selection criteria such as date, status, |

Exception Code or other parameters |

ForTag Agent is designed strictly as per current NERC specifications |

ForTag Authority provides a repository for all the communications associated with a Tag from |

any standards compliant Tag Agent Service |

ForTag Authority automatically routes all received Tags to the Tag Approval Service associated |

with each entity involved with a transaction and collects approvals or denials issued by each |

Tag Approval Service. Based on the information received from the Tag Approval Services |

Ability to determine the final status of the Tag and notify the originating Tag Agent and all Tag |

Approval Services associated with the transaction |

Supports the required Tag-level override capability (implement or denied) |

The system presents to the user a list of Tags and their status. After assessing each Tag, the |

user decides whether to accept or refuse it and this decision is sent via standard e-Tagging |

mechanisms to the responsible Tag Authority Service via the Internet |
